Game Overview

The game core is pretty solid. Combat is fluid, the game is fun and characters are interesting. I also can see a lot of potential for co-op play with different player roles and styles to be explored. For now the game is exactly that: potential and promises. It’s an early access, and of course some core features are missing, like co-op and online modes, but since the foundation is good I can see the developers know what they are doing. If they manage to screw up with this game on release I’ll change my review, but so far the game is going in a good direction.

Now, talking a bit more about the game itself, I see a lot of confusion from players. First of all, it’s not an ARPG like Diablo and PoE. The combat itself works like a mmorpg, you have a basic attack skill while other skills have their own cool down, and the controls are similar to Tree of Savior (but much better). You can’t create a build focused on a single spam able skill, you have to use combos and rotations with your skills, and some skills have interaction with others skills.
