Prey is an Outstanding title that is well worth its price tag. It follows in the Dishonored tradition of open ended level. Design and creates a deeply immersive atmosphere. Enhanced by moral choices which shape the outcome of the game. This time around though the adventure takes place in SPACE and the game instills all the right feelings in you. A touch of horror, adrenaline filled fire fights, the lowliness of space. Exciting new discoveries, the reward of the tech tree, and the subtle hint of purpose for something greater. Probably the best immersive sim I’ve ever played. The game takes inspiration from everything from Half-Life to Bio shock to System Shock to Deus Ex to Dishonored.

This game was the biggest surprise for me this year. I didn’t watch any game play or trailer, just bought the game. Because I like the theme and the description, it was also discount. The introduction was amazing and the game was pretty scary at first. But after some time I got use to it and I spent 37.5 hours. Playing a single-player only, story-based FPS in 2018…hats down.
