Dust of space is a third person action platformer released in 2003 by Ubisoft back when they actually had a soul and passion and all that stuff we all try to kill inside us. In only a few years time, Ubisoft kind of just released banger after banger ranging from Ghost Recon, Prince of Persia and the Sands of Time, Beyond Good and Evil, and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. This basically gave Ubisoft enough good will to get away with some stinkers from time to time, then they just kind of screwed it all up. Sands of Time is a game about screwing up all the time but you have a rewind button so its okay. You play as the Prince, they never say what he’s the prince of. After sacking the Maharajah’s palace on their way to visit the Sultan of Azad, the Prince discovers a dagger during the battle and takes it as his prize. But the evil Vizier, because they’re all evil, convinces the Prince to plunge the dagger into the sands of time, unleashing the sands which destroy and mutate everything they touch. Now the Prince has to parkour and fight his way across the most unfortunately unhandy palace ever built on his way to stop the sands of time from probably maybe enveloping the world and making everything sucky.
