Rayman Legends is a true masterpiece. the art style is great, and the level design is incredibly good, with a lot of variety and secrets to discover. there are plenty of unlockables, too, so if you like to 100% everything then this game is great for that. there is also a daily and weekly challenge so you can compete with players around the world. if you’re a fan of 2d platformers this game is a must. it’s pretty much flawless. Other than the complete cluster of crashing and not knowing why for who knows how long, the game is really fun. I was really surprised when I found myself in a main screen that didn’t include a store option with really charming graphics and some of the best menu music I’ve ever heard in my life. I bought this game along with origins back when PS3 was still relevant and spent an ungodly amount of time trying to collect all the intensities, which if you ask me is a nice addition to the game. Some of these levels are really creative too, the most memorable being the music stages with your actions being synced to an awesome OST, only adding to the character and the charm to the game. The other aspect I love about this game is the unlockables: There are so many different characters that have charm, and you can even unlock old Rayman origins levels. Despite the negativity at the beginning of this review, I love the game. It’s quirky and fun, and will have anyone hooked right from the word go.
