If your expectations are low, then this game will be a nice surprise. If you’re expecting Mario Kart then you will be sorely disappointed. This game is still rough around the edges. I experienced several problems with the the menu UI. On normal difficulty, the first race track was very easy and I won easily. No challenge. However, as soon as I got to the water track, things got hectic as I capsized various times and was turned the wrong way on various occasions. I ended up placing 4th. I believe there’s 16 racers to unlock. They are not just good looking skins of different animals on different looking carts, but they behave differently on the track. Some are light, some are heavy, some go fast, some accelerate fast, and others handle better. So there’s lots of variety just from that.
