It’s hard to compare this to anything released in the last decade–it’s a shmup, but it’s also a competitive fighting game, sorta. The skill floor and ceiling are both very high, so genre fans will love it although normies will need to put some serious effort in to beat the AI on “Easy,” let alone beat their skilled friends. If you are getting it for the versus/online play, then the main issue right now is the wait time between matches, although it seems that discord is rather active and you can always find an opponent there if you ask. Other than that, it feels very smooth and polished.
Buy It, play it, then fight me! Great game for anyone who enjoys shmups, challenging single player mode with multiple characters to play with, each with their own unique specials and story lines, also has Leader boards for the single player, but where i think this game will be most fun is against people online, works great! i highly recommend this game.
