Special mention must be given to the character design and sprite work, every character is exquisitely expressive and almost every boss can be seen clearly going through a half dozen emotions or variants on the same emotion mid fight. It’s a work of art. Hell, the art alone is worth the price. Bonus points to the boss who channels a rabbit style of kung fu and manages to adopt the most serious, badass rabbit-like pose you’ve ever seen.
My only complaints, the VAs are the usual western anime batch with no Japanese dub and while several are good, several… aren’t. In addition, the story is stupid. Everyone, our heroines included, is a complete laughable moron and anyone who isn’t stupid is sarcastic. Considering the last couple of Kunio games I played respected the plot and characters, this game turning them into degenerates and losers is a bit of a shock for me. Get Drift Horizon Online PC Game.
