First off whilst i wholeheartedly recommend this game do not buy it if you expect to be able to do everything straight away the crafting system is a game all on its own and the learning curve is insane ,don’t think you will be able to craft a nuclear reactor with 2 twigs and some sticky tape like some survival games you earn every single piece of equipment you make here and for that reason i love it and also hate it at the same time.
every single item you build has different components which in turn might need other components and new tools etc etc so you spend LOTS of time switching between tools to make different items whilst juggling your food,water radiation and power consumption levels and some of the later model machines you build need an insane amount of materials/time to make. So if you like to actually have to think to survive and plan and react in a game realistic way then buy it now it will not disappoint if you want a quick twitch fix then move along this is not the game you are looking for.
