Game Overview

For the first episode in a series, it does a great job at laying the foundation for a deep and rich world. I got through the normal play through and took a little time to explore and learn the crafting. If you take advantage of the engineering of new weapons, barter for mods and try for some better successes with crafting, the game is a ton of fun. If you use your abilities, boost to close distance and avoid enemy fire, use your emp and the right weapons based on the resistances of the enemies, it flows really well.

My guess is people who burn through it will find it harder than it needs to be. If you like fights that involve planning with the right weapon and setup, you will highly enjoy this game. For a brand new studio and their first project, they nailed it. It’s an a great experience. They pay a lot of attention to small details as you travel around the levels and sky deck area. Great missions that are not “go kill 10 of these.” Fun dialogue with the main characters that I am guessing will only increase as new episodes come along.
