Senran Kagura Burst Re Newal is a remake of the first title originally release in Japan on the 3DS with an American release later on with a new story expansion. If you’re new to the series or just played the newer releases on PC, the game focuses strongly on story and character development rather than walls of content, You’d think a story about big-tiddied anime women would just be a gigantic meme or at best a joke but you’re wrong, DEAD WRONG. I never thought I would cry over crap like this but I did. The Senran Kagura games started out with great stories with actual character development and plot twists before they turned into JUST fan service in their sequels and little else.
You follow several girls (two campaigns, two schools, good and evil) who are ninjas in training. They fight with each other and have their own backstories and motivations. You know, just like what any good stories have. It blows my mind that this game has more interesting characters and story than most modern AAA games. Get WWE 2K19 PC Game.
Content is interesting. The game is a remake of the first but instead of being a beatem-up you get a Dynasty Warrior-esque hack-and-slash just like the newer games SK games in the series complete with wave clear abilities on hordes of enemies and heavy combo-orientated bosses. I know a lot of older fans hate this change and have been unhappy with the newer games forcing in addition to forcing less liked characters because they are “Japan favorites” for their design (Yumi). But this is still a massive improvement over the newer Versus titles. Combat and animations feel faster and more fluid then previous entries. The voice acting is once again quite nice and the customization is there. Instead of getting about 20+ girls to maintain, you’re getting 5 per story with some overlap.
