Game Overview
Sidewords really scratches both of these itches for me, and I’ve been enjoying every built-in puzzle for as long as I can. Even if it’s just to see how many different configurations I can arrange the board in. Over 200 puzzles is sure to keep any anagram nerd busy for a while. The daily puzzles really shine in this game, too. A new set every day means Sidewords has a lot of potential longevity long after one finishes the base game. It’s a great way to keep the player coming back.
The only gripe I have with Sidewords is the bonus mini game, Quads. It’s an interesting enough idea, but gets stale quickly in my opinion. I feel the base mechanic of Sidewords (X-Y axis grid making) clashes with the secondary mechanic of Quads’ Boggle-style game play. You also get Dimension Hunter PC Game.
