This is a collection of over 20 SNK arcade and console titles from the early 1980s up until roughly 1990, with an emphasis on shooters that were controlled with a rotating 8-way joystick and also action platformers. There are a couple of notable franchises here, namely Ikari Warriors and Athena, who would become something of SNK’s mascot. The game may seem overpriced but it should be noted you get both US & Japanese versions of games where applicable, and if a title had a console version you get that too. There also is some bonus content in the form of original strategy guides, slideshows and a handful of soundtracks you can listen too. All the games run well and are arcade/console perfect, the only issue I have is there is no way to adjust the in-game volume levels. They are very unbalanced from game to game and sometimes are hard to hear.
