Sometimes Always Monsters is everything you’d hope a sequel to be. The first game was wonderful but you can see now it was just a stepping stone to something greater. Almost every area is expanded upon from large life changing choices to choosing whether or not to spend your time showering. As far as the graphics go, of all the RPG Maker games I’ve seen this has the best graphics. If you take the time to notice, there’s little details everywhere that gives the world much life. The one downside I have noticed are the few bugs here and there, but the devs are pumping out updates to smooth those out. Even if those bugs never get ironed this game is still absolutely worth the asking price and your time. A great narrative driven, dialogue focused RPG with an absolutely staggering amount of choices to make. Everything from how much you shower to whether or not you work out seems to have an effect on the game. If you imported your save from the previous game, Always Sometimes Monsters, you can choose to play as the character you ended that game as. Otherwise, you choose between a male and female character.
