Game Overview

This is generally the type of game I really enjoy, however doing anything in the world of Staxel is so frustrating, annoying, and time consuming that I couldn’t stomach playing this game for more than a couple hours. It is extremely difficult to place blocks or floors, resulting in weird gaps and grass all over your floor. Making blocks takes glue and lumber. Making lumber involves using a saw and cutting the wood, ONE BY ONE. There is no batch crafting so you literally need to stand there for an hour crafting lumber after lumber after lumber.

Then you need to try to build a barn, but the blocks don’t place on top of each other easily, they often go behind or beside where you intend to put them which means you need to get out your hammer and remove them. If your inventory is full, which happens easily, the game makes this constant annoying beeping noise when it tries to pick up an item. I really wanted to enjoy this game but doing the most basic tasks was such a frustrating process. With limited gaming time I can’t justify spending any of it on staxel. Get The Sims 3 PC Game.
