This is one of the best games to come out of the Love craftian genre in a while. Essentially right from the beginning you can customize your character in a way similar to Fallout, except Lovecraft! And when the game starts, you are treated to beautiful gritty graphics which fit Lovecraft. Mythos games by their nature focus on the inexplicable terror of the alien unknown. It focuses on the sheer horror of loss of agency. This game manages to deliver that feel, while still being a fun RPG where your choices matter, where you find yourself caring about the actors.
