Game Overview

This is a really fun horror game. For myself it was a bit too dark but I put the gamma slider up just a touch and the misty forest came alive with sights and sounds to entertain. The monster (of course there is a monster!) brings about some nice jump scares and even the environment has a few tricks for you but i never felt that they were overdone or bogged the game down in such a way that I was paralysed with fear and afraid to move onto the next area. The scares were more along the lines of shock followed by laughter. Even an out of place coat rack can seem so ominous in the hands of these Devs. The horror was just at the right level to keep me going. Achievements are here and are a real bonus to the game with some of them rewarding you for doing those things we know we shouldn’t do but just have to try and see what happens. As what I think is a bonus at this time in early access is you get to play most of the game with the knowledge you will get to play again in full release with a more polished story and with added scenes. So you are almost getting two games in one.
