You play as Lorraine, a young mother with some mental issues stemming from both of her parents and the sudden loss of her lover, who is searching for her young son who ran into the park after being told to stay in the car. You’ll be able to explore the entire park and as you search you’ll uncover interesting tidbits about the park, and find unsettling things about deaths of patrons over the years. Overall, the game offers a decent story with fairly nice graphics, a few jump scare moments, and some genuinely unsettling moments, and for a first attempt from Funcom at merging walking simulators with psychological horror, it’s really good. However, the price should be adjusted because there is really no real reason to play this game after the initial time, unless you missed an achievement, or wanted to replay it for spooky season.
