Game Overview
The game is good, and if you have $40 to throw at it, its worth it just for the atmosphere, graphics, and some of the gameplay. Im almost 10 hours in and on day 10 in the game, and I doubt Im even a quarter through the quest line, so I think I will get my monies worth for this game for sure. Where the game is good, its great, but where its not good, its terrible. The issues are clearly laid out in the discussions area and by other reviewers. The developers ARE listening and do seem to care, and thats a huge plus in my book.
The biggest disappointment for me is that in 2020 we are still dealing with VR studios that are clearly underfunded. This isnt anything against the studio, but I feel like if the funding for this game had been double whatever it was, it could have been virtually perfect, a masterpiece even. Parts of this game feel tech demo like, such as the human AI and some of the side quests. Other parts feel really polished, like the sound, atmosphere, and graphics.
