Game play wise, I’m really interested in the formation system, and I really hope they iron out the bugs and develop it further. I’ve played many party-based RPGs where the characters act more or less as independent units — yes, often they’ll support each other, as in healers and tanks and DPS, but… that’s not how real combat works, you know? Real combat involving groups of people means the smart use of formations, to varying degrees.
The combat system adds some new mechanics, like the formations, that needs more polishing, but overall I enjoyed it. It is an Early Access, but if they fulfill what they promise in the road map, we can soon expect lots of improvements. I don´t understand the criticism about the bugs.
