Unavowed is a point and click adventure game with non-linear game play, built upon the principle of choice and it’s consequences. To drive this principle, the game provides a system with several planes of freedom, aggregating outcomes of specific situations to a general outcome. Avowed takes an approach similar to one of an RPG to achieve this, starting with a concept which is common for RPGs, but uncommon for point and click games: protagonist background. You can choose from three occupational backgrounds, plus gender. this choice affects your starting point, as well as character’s social ability.
