Game Overview
The game is effectively a side scrolling metroidvania that is often difficult, it features melee based combat primarily, with buyable skills and stat upgrades, along with ranged options in the form of four guns. Game has light platforming elements with some environmental hazards, and a couple of jumping puzzles. Game is unforgiving and being combo’d to death is possible. Saves are frequent enough, that this never becomes genuinely enraging. This does however, lead to the games game play being sometimes both thought provoking, like a puzzle to discover how to best clear a room, but also incredibly aggressive as you take out key targets before they can render you defenseless.
My first run of the game was on easy to get a feeling for it, on this difficulty I was experimenting with combos, exploring, and generally just trying to see all the game had to offer. It wasn’t horribly difficult. Second run was immediately on hard, and it features more enemies and higher damage values from them. Really make the game harder in a particularly meaningful way, but it wasn’t overkill most of the time. For my third run Normal, Notice it being easier than hard, and actually had a tougher time due to having less money early on. Uncertain what changed. Get BloodLust 2 Nemesis PC Game.
