Game Overview
Next would be the fighting mechanic : it’s clunky and confusing at least in the early game. There are not enough visual/audio cues that tells you if you actually dealt any kind of damage when punching the enemies. Plus the zombies definitely have too much health, it makes the combat against zombies very repetitive and unnengaging. Actually, there are not enough audio/visual cues in this game in general : it’s hard to tell if you have picked up an object, activated a checkpoint etc…
There is also pacing issue but the devs are aware of it and are looking to fix it, but i’d also like to say the dev shouldn’t put an enemy right as you descend to the street in the beggining of the game, feels too sudden and kind of kills the flows, doesn’t let the player appreciate slowly the grimmdark aspect of the game.
