WarrOrb is a very fun metroidvania style game where you control a soul trapped in an orb, rolling and bouncing your way through a ruined world. And you definitely feel that way, the world and the music make for an excellent atmosphere. The puzzles and combat are challenging, you will die a lot, but it’s very rewarding to master each combat and each puzzle. And each puzzle and combat brings you closer to the mysteries the game presents to you and that will gnaw at the back of your mind. I’ve been enjoying my time with the game and hope you will too. WarriOrb is a novel addition to the challenging plat former genre, throwing in a bit of combat, magic, and its own brand of physics puzzles centered mainly around the fact that you are a walking, talking, bouncing, rolling orb. I’ll be honest; I’m not the biggest fan of this genre. However, that’s just me. If you like hardcore platformers such as Celeste, I imagine this will be right up your alley, complete with its own unique flavor of world building and scenery. A hearty recommendation for any fans of platformers.
