But combat is melee, you don’t get super powered tonics, and it is a janky semi-indie game, with random glitches, etc. Where this game goes to truly deep levels is this: In a MEGA world, “We Happy Few”, reminds us that what made Britannia great wasn’t yellow submarines and Austin Powers. Maintaining a “stiff upper lip,” isn’t enough, when all you are enduring is your own cowardice.

The game can be a bit buggy, and repetitiveness can set in. Some of the game play mechanics and the random map generation are kinda gimmicky. But! The setting is absolutely fantastic. The world is a great blend of dystonia fiction and alt history. The art design is top notch. For the asking price, it’s a bit much. Get it on a discount. It’s definitely worth a play.
