The early section of the game is largely centred around Kiryu’s new life as surrogate dad at an orphanage in Okinawa, and it’s somewhat different tonally from 0 or either of the Kiwami remakes. You’ll return to Kamurocho and get involved in the various happenings of the Tojo clan soon enough, but life in Okinawa is a bit of a different beast to the seedier parts of Tokyo. The Remaster improves a good number of environmental and key character textures, but the history of the game as an earlier PS3 title is fairly clear with the low-poly appearance of many NPCs and models.
