As you complete levels you unlock the next car, which you then have to upgrade in order to complete the level. It’s a nice idea, yet comes across as if the progression was tied directly in to having your car fully upgraded to finish the level. There doesn’t seem to be much wiggle room for perfection and ability to reach the end of the long road you’re driving on. Instead it seems heavily reliant on having MAX fuel, thrusts, and a barrier strapped to the front of your car.

This game is what it is, and the developers have been up front about it – it’s a mobile game that has been released on PC as the fans have asked for it. If you play it as a mobile game, in small chunks here and there it’ll scratch an itch for sure. If you’re looking for something a bit of depth and meaning behind it, you’ll be disappointed, but lets face it – this is a game about driving rocket boosted cars with guns in to zombies.
