The perma-death aspect concerned me at first, but I managed to survive my first few play-throughs without dying because I didn’t take any unnecessary risks. Perma-death also makes your achievements feel more authentic and consequential, because you actually had to risk something to achieve them, and I totally agree with the developer’s decision to use it. I didn’t fully understand the combat at first, but just a few minutes of looking around on the community forum helped me better understand it. The writing is excellent. If you enjoy reading and using your imagination, you won’t be disappointed by the vivid scenes this game paints in your mind. This truly is one of the best games I’ve ever played. I sincerely hope the developer decides to add more to the game, or come out with other games along the same line, because this one is truly wonderful.
