Game Overview

Crown Trick is a cute game with a very polished interface. It does not kill you with hundreds of stats, but has been reduced to the essential turn-based roguelike experience. The rules are as expected. Enter a randomized room and kill all monsters to find loot and unlock the doors. Explore the dungeons, collect riches, enter special rooms where you meet a merchant or find treasure chests, kill a boss to exit the level. Permadeath, procedurally generated dungeons, automap, blueprints that unlock items in future runs.

You play little Elle, a sweet young girl with a mighty punch, who wakes up in the Nightmare Realm where a talking golden crown on her head tells her that she must slay the evil Duke Vlad. Slaying Vlad is the only way to bring peace to the realm. So you set out to kill monsters, always guided by the talking crown, calling itself the Nightmare Guardian.
