Game Overview

The Dynasty Warriors series isn’t for everyone, I realize that, but if you are thinking about trying one of them out, I doubt there’s a better choice in the series than DW8XLCE – which is, in my opinion, the best entry in the franchise, despite its long name. I mean, in the time it takes me to type that name I could’ve done all sorts of things, like say, paint a picture of a guy with a big knife. okay enough Strong Bad references. I’m now going to reference a few of the things that’s changed since previous installments.

Story Mode works a bit differently, and I have to say, overall better. Some stages are set off with cut scenes and then you’re straight into the action; some are introduced via the “base camp” function, where you can roam around and buy or sell weapons, and chat with the other officers and soldiers, before you ultimately begin the stage in a smooth transition into the action. Simply put, the game play hasn’t changed overly much, but the presentation has seen an immense improvement over what I remember of previous installments. Get Call Of Cthulhu.
