Game Overview

Erannorth Reborn is a deck-building card game with a focus on combat. The game recently released onto Steam in Early Access and currently is in build 0.180. It shows quite a bit of promise with solid in-game mechanics, and the developer is patient in explaining things to the players things that are unclear or need further clarification. The ideas behind the game are quite nice, and the game is not too exciting visually, but the fundamental ideas behind this card-based game is definitely well thought out, even in its early forms currently. There are some bugs, but that can be expected in Early Access forms of a game for sure. I do have high hopes that major problems will be fixed quickly.

The tutorial is significantly lacking currently as well, there’s just a 19 plate slideshow that is not too exciting. The developer has mentioned a plan to make this better in the future. Aside from this, there are also a lot of in-game mechanics that are not explained too well or at all in the tutorial, making the starting game play experience a bit cumbersome. But of course if you just ask any questions on the forums, the developer is always quick to respond, with often detailed discussions that will get you moving in the right direction.
