Game Overview

It’s a super cool concept! One of the first things I wanted when I bought my Vive was that I wanted to be a blacksmith. The characters and art are all very appealing, and the price tag is reasonable for a technically endless game. If this game had improved collision, basic subtitles and better hit-detection, it would be great! But right now the glitches make it very hard to be a good smith, and you end up with wasted potions and funny looking blades. If they improve the game, I will be more than happy to change my review to a recommendation. Get The White Laboratory PC Game.

This game does have lots of problems, though. Collision is often inaccurate, when I would try and even out a blade with my hammer it would only work on some spots and not others. When I tried to open my desk to get potions, they fell through and shattered. When I picked up an axe handle, it wouldn’t come out of the basket. In addition, the hammer is very strange to hold, and even though the options it gives you show images and English words, the lines are all in Japanese, and I couldn’t understand it. One last minor thing, the hammer was held in your hand at a strange angle, but that wasn’t extremely bad.
