Game Overview

Not for Broadcast is an amazing work of art. It has a unique concept going for it, and while it does a good job of selling that you’re a mixer operator for a news station, it doesn’t do so without it’s fair share of humor here and there. The game features full motion video, which as of launch day, totals up to about 6 GB. The actors sell the illusion of real characters very well. The only bad acting I saw was seemingly deliberate (the “Friendship” play scene with the kids on stage).

And the occasional humor as well. You have the guy who watched way too many alien documentaries. The guy who has a sex slave in his closet. The guy who breaks up on his wife on national news. And of course Jeremy, the only guy who takes his job seriously. You have complete control over how the game plays out, and it is interesting to watch. However, average play sessions can take a long time though. A few levels took about an hour for me. Get The DreamWriter PC Game.
