Game Overview

Game mechanics wise, as I said it’s pretty old school. Expect to fight a lot of the same types of enemies to grind a level or two, so you can move to the next area, rinse and repeat. Yes there are missions, but they’re very much a “beat up a lot of enemies, or beat up a lot of enemies to get some low-drop rate drops). The VR aspect does add some novelty, the new classes are good fun and they all play very differently to one another using VR controls very well, it’s just a shame you don’t ever feel powerful, unless you’re beating up low level things. I like the complexity of the Rune Mage, but if you’re going to make people struggle to draw rune’s effectively, at least make them more powerful than the Paladin’s easy hammer swing when they manage to pull the runes off.
