Obviously when it comes to roguelikes/roguelites the games are going to get repetitive, but when it comes to slashers keep, it seems to get a bit too repetitive too quickly. I feel like i have to grind gold and items then purposefully throw everything down the chute and die to start over multiple times and essentially grind more and hope the shop has something good for me to buy so i can progress further. this feature feels like a double edged sword when it comes to this game.

The open-ended nature of these puzzle box/heist/race-against-the-clock hybrid missions are a brilliant showcase of the game’s physics engine where you’re constantly met with these small interactions between you and the environment that feel like huge, gratifying “a-ha!” moments. I KNEW destroying things was going to be fun and look amazing but, in the context of these thought-out missions, it feels even more substantial than anticipated.
