Game Overview

The art and design of the game is beautiful and very well realised, with an I love Lucy type of feel to the cardboard cutout world. Although each environment is rich with lots of clutter, the game is not as interactive as you might think. Most of the time there’s only a very limited number of things you can shoot and even then it’s mainly what is scripted to be shot in order to complete the level, so in this way the rail aspect of the game really shows.

Funnily enough one of the weakest aspects of the game is the guns themselves. They don’t sound, look or behave very realistically at all, which is a huge reminder, that this is not a shooting sandbox like H3, and that the “game” element is very much all about the satirical narrative, which I should make clear it does very, very well.
