Game Overview

Unheard is an audio drama, where you deduce solutions to five different mystery scenarios by listening to up to 12 different characters at a time during scripted events. You’re free to jump between locations – following characters or staying put – and rewind and fast forward as you please. By listening to each character, you’ll be able to assign identities to each of them and eventually answer the questions that solve the mystery. Graphics are simple room layouts and icons representing individual characters. Except for scripted cut scenes between each scenario, it’s this simple, but utilitarian representation you’ll be looking at. It works fine for what it’s supposed to do.

Both the audio and the script is of fairly high quality. I’d say about 90% of the English speaking actors do a good job, but a few give stale or overly dramatic performances. Still, there’s nothing truly cringe worthy here, which is obviously important for an audio drama. Each individual scenario has a decent enough script, delivering a mystery you’ll want to solve, and giving you all the tools you need to actually do the solving. Unfortunately, the conclusion to the overarching story is by far the weakest part of the script. I kind of think I’ll just pretend it isn’t there, really. Get DMT Dynamic Music Tesseract PC Game.
