Game Overview

The music and sfx are on point, the art is gorgeous and the overall feeling of cold and loneliness is pervasive. As the game progresses this feeling is intensified, which culminates in a desperate struggle for survival within a harsh environment and you get to see many familiar faces fighting for their lives as you advance relentlessly towards the cause of your woes. Not original by any means but the overall pacing of the game had a nice rhythm. It did get a bit grindy, towards the mid, but the game never overstayed its welcome. Get Arcade Spirits PC Game.

About the story, I quite liked it. It was a simple but well executed plot with interesting developments and possible outcomes. The supporting cast was not deeply detailed but they each got a personal quest or a moment that explored their motivations and a bit of their backstory. I liked both the pacing with which the information and story were revealed and the characters themselves. And I feel the game was detailed just enough to serve its purpose and the complexity of its mechanics without crossing into the dangerous “when will this ever end?” territory.
